Does anybody has any experiance with flash cure x-37.I purchased some about a month ago but have not tried the cured eggs yet.Any input would be appreciated..
I don't ever cure my eggs. If I'm not able to use the ones that I have they get put in the freezer til I need em. I've used eggs from last season to get me started this season even. All a personal preference.
Make sure you dry them as much as you can before you put the cure on them. A lot of people swear by that stuff. I have my eggs both ways and I think Kev is right it's just a personal thing. But I also think for someone that can't fish as much as BK and Wake cure is the way to go.
I purchased some from erie outfitters and it came with instructions which it helps a lot for a newbie like me but like I said I have not tried it yet..Thanks on all replies..
That is where mine came from and I think that I should of dried them more be for putting the cure on. I think the cure looked like it was damp when it was on the eggs. I think the eggs should of been air dried more first. I could be wrong!!
I have used many types of egg cures and flash cure is by far the best. DE, if you feel that your eggs are to wet roll the around on some paper towels to hasten the air drying. I have also put some paper towels in the bottom of the ziplock bags I keep the in to keep them dryer too. That being said I have not had any different results with wet vs dry eggs as long as I used flash cure.
