Went out today on Crosseyes boat for the last time this year. Had along with us Troll One and his dad Cliff and a friend of mine from work John ( the hot doubles guy from last week). First off we couldn't get minnows this morning, ended up at Erie Out Fitters.(every one was closed, three places in the black river area) I will say for Craig come rain or shine he is open no matter what. Thanks for being there Craig !!! We headed out to where we got them last week. The lake was a little rough 3-4 with some 6's. Sure miss that buoy out off of Vermilion for the real report. We were hoping that we would get our perch in somewhat of a hurry and then troll for some eyes or steelies but today wasn't the case. Cliff caught the first perch and broke the ice but they just either were not there or just weren't biting. All we got were some white bass except for big Dave tied into a 9.5# eye that was 29.5" pig. That was the highlight of the day. We did troll back to the break wall but no luck. I think if it was a little calmer and we had more time we might of got into some eyes, they are there!!! Thanks Dave for the great fishing season, having us on your boat and sharing your knowledge with us.

Nice fish Dave...Sorry I couldn't be on your boat.

weighed it when i got home and got 10.2# and 10.0#, so it was some where between 9.8# to 10.0#. doesn't really matter close enough. thanks for the great season! you guys are always welcome aboard. hopefully the weather holds and we can get out on the double eagle a couple more times. thanks again
