Just got my first new boxes from Ole Pete's Tackle for storing my crankbaits. I thought that if I was going to spend $5 or $6 bucks on a crankbait I didn't want them banging around in a open conpartment box. Usually I would stick as many baits in a slot as would fit and then when you wanted one it was untangle time. Now I can get a better view of my selection of cranks. Looks good so far, thanks Don!!

THIS IS THE 18 TUBE BOX FROM OLE PETE'S TACKLE

Those are not too shabby but have you seen the ones that B+B tackle makes. I know they are a bit pricy but damn are they sweet. I've got two ordered right now. They are sweet cause you can see all your baits at night with a quick shot from the flashlight. Don't have to open any additional boxes and I can't wait to get my hands on these things. The tube storage is cool and less expensive but these things are as Borat would say "NICE". Check em out. www.bbbaitbox.com

It has been my past experience with any thing that I have hung a crank bait in is that they like to come unhooked and then you are always digging them out. They do look good. When I am out trolling I hang what I'm using in a five gal. bucket with slots cut around the top. When I put spoons or cranks back in storage I make sure they are also dry. I still think the tube deal is easer to see you crank bait.

I just like em cause you can hold a ton in one spot and they don't come unhooked in this box. I've been with a guy that used them all last season and what happens is the lid keeps them from coming unhooked. The lures do stay nice and dry in this box too cause it allow air flow inside the box where the tubes are closed. Anyways I said I like the tube idea I just like this one better. Just thought I would give guys the option.

Dave,

I told you to send them my way and I'll fix them for you. Rod and I will be at the IX Center tomorrow. If you're headed that way bring those 3 PCs and call one of us.

Hey guys I got my new bass pro early spring catalog today and on page 201 they have come out with a hard bait/stick bait box, doulbe sided, tangle free and says it will hold up to 40 baits for around $10.00 not bad if it will realy hod 40 reef runners.

Dave have you seen this? Can you check to see if it will realy hold that many reef runners? and if so can you get them?

Mark,
Can you bring that catalog with you next time you are in town? I would like to see that system. If you buy a couple ,please bring them up as well. 10.00 for a decent system is cheap.
I don't get those catalog's, I probably should. How big of baits will it hold?
Take care Mark/ Thanks for the post,
Dave
