Thinking of heading out maybe saturday or sunday but not sure what all this snow is gonna do to the ice. Any reports from Willard, Bellevue, Norwalk or any other area holes? I made it up to Bellevue Res #5 day before the storm (tuesday) and only got 2 cats on tip-ups. Would love some gills or crappies to take home for the fridge.

Thanx!

We hit willard today and didn't get many keeper perch but managed 8 really nice ones. Have done pretty well there the last two weekends tho. Two weeks ago we came home with 30 9+ inchers some as big as 13". Ice is good just about everywhere. There is 10-12 inches of ice on willard and about the same everywhere that we have tried. Think we may hit the river tomorrow morning thru the ice. Let us know how u do.

I saw you out there... somewhere among the crowd. Was in Willard and decided to drive up the boat launch drive and take a look. I was surprised at the number of people out there! I have no shanty and a day like today would have froze me solid. I did see at least 2 groups of people without shelter. Wind is to die down some, maybe tomorrow... What were you using? Thanks for the info.

Genz worms in white and chartruese tipped with a waxie. Jig anywhere from 6 inches from the bottom to 10 ft off the bottom. The perch suspend in this reservoir sometimes. Good luck.
