Lowe165 (Norm) from Toledo. First year having a boat and but not new to Lake Erie. Hope to share and receive tips and tricks here for keeping my freezer filled with Lake Erie eye's and perch. Great to meet you guys.

Norm!!! (as they used to say on "Cheers"..)
Hope the new boat is working out for you. If you haven't taken one, please consider a Safe Boating Course. The Coast Guard Auxiliary offers them, as well as the United States Power Squadron. I've taken both over the years and had all my kids take the Coast Guard one. I recall taking the first one and thinking, well, maybe I'll learn one or 2 things here......HA! I had no idea how little I actually knew about boats and boating and I'd spent many, many hours on boats and the water before that!
And go catch some fish!!!!

Took a course many years ago. But most recently i took the state boat safety test. It was well worth my while.
