tried to go for steelies this morning,but after i chipped a couple of teeth i stayed in walleye waters.same area as last week we caught 4 tickets in five hours.witch was ok but,my heart was broken when i had a 30inch eye 20ft behind the boat and it got off.this group of fish were slightly bigger all were 22-25inch range.hope every did well.

Did the Steelie run to the 44/10 area. Very poor marks and took us a while to get there. Had probably 12 hits and could only landed 4 Steelies and 4 eyes. The Steelies were just like hit and run and not get hooked. One hit cleaned the hook right off of the spoon!! Seemed like better marks below the 40 line!!!

de i had a ton of good marks at 35-40ft down almost everywhere i went today.but i only found one good spot where they would hit.once again the downriggers paid off for me i ran them 40-42 ft down right with the marks and picked fish all day.i belive i had one steelie on but i was not set up for them and the drag was set a little too tight and he broke 50lb test by time i got the rod in my hand.were the fish out there any bigger than normal?
