Good deal Dancin Bear!! Hate to hear about the rough water, I won't make that run unless I know it will be a calm day. It sure makes a long trip back in rough water!! Let me know the next time you are going out!!! I haven't maid it yet this year!! What were the numbers??
hey dancin bear could you give me some tips on the steelies.i am going for them this weekend, maybe like how fast were going and what depth were they suspended at thanks for info you can spare
Bump your speed up to around 3 mph. Run a lot of orange!! Make sure all of your leaders are in a-1 shape, I like to go to 30# test and even run snubbers behind your dipseys. Look for pods of bait fish. Usually they are not very deep like above 30'. Run your drags as loose as possible. They say if you land half of what you hook up to you are doing good. Careful it is addicting!!!!! Have fun!! One of my hottest spoons is a Pro King Water Mellon, I had six out last year on one trip!! Let us know how you do !!!
ORANGE thats the tip play with the speed i prefer 2.7 i like to run dipseys at #3 110-120 #0 85-95 but play with it and find the sweet spot DE i am not sure what numbers i was at but i was NW of Avon in about 61-63 FOW was a 22 mile run from the V
