I am going to make a run at some steelies tomarrow and just wondering if anyone had any info

last info ihad were a few being pickup on the 41 line between 07 -02 but that was over a week ago.have not heard anything since my buddie picked 4 and lost one they also picked a few eyes over there.i will be out tomarrow give me a call on 79 i will check to see if he went out good luck

a buddy off mine just picked one up in the 35 14 area yesterday on a red glow sppoon.

Well DE they are out there!!! Pulling my boat monday to take her salmon fishing in new york and i wanted to take her on a long run and see how she did. Ran 22 miles NE of the V 64 FOW and caught some really nice steelies. Blue/silver Orange/anything spoons Dipseys #3 110/120 #0 85/95 darn those things are fun to reel in. Also caught some nice eyes out there

Good deal Dancin Bear!! Hate to hear about the rough water, I won't make that run unless I know it will be a calm day. It sure makes a long trip back in rough water!! Let me know the next time you are going out!!! I haven't maid it yet this year!! What were the numbers??

Bump your speed up to around 3 mph. Run a lot of orange!! Make sure all of your leaders are in a-1 shape, I like to go to 30# test and even run snubbers behind your dipseys. Look for pods of bait fish. Usually they are not very deep like above 30'. Run your drags as loose as possible. They say if you land half of what you hook up to you are doing good. Careful it is addicting!!!!! Have fun!! One of my hottest spoons is a Pro King Water Mellon, I had six out last year on one trip!! Let us know how you do !!!

ORANGE thats the tip play with the speed i prefer 2.7 i like to run dipseys at #3 110-120 #0 85-95 but play with it and find the sweet spot DE i am not sure what numbers i was at but i was NW of Avon in about 61-63 FOW was a 22 mile run from the V
