When is a safe time to go a head and put your marine batteries in,I got a lot of things to start hooking up and checking on my new boat but don't want to hurt any thing with the temps still cold.
Man all I had to do the last few years was through the batteries in,run it for a while and go FISHING!!but now I have to install a lot of stuff and check out out more on the new boat.Boat is outside under a awing.

Thanks Mark Butler - ( Let Christ be your light house )

You don't take your car battery out every night because of the cold do you? Put 'em in and make sure everything works. Just put a trickle charge on the batteries a few days before you launch.

Mark, Mine stayed in the boat all last winter. Had no problems when I went to use her. I know how it is, you just try to prevent spending more money than you need too. good luck Thad

You can put them in now Mark. Just hook up the two bank charger under the conole to them and it will trickle charge them after it fully charges them. I don't like leaving batteries in all winter even on a charger but now would be fine.

Will NOT fish for food !!
