Got on the V early morning and the river looked fine still, and by 11am it turned into chocolate milk with some raging high water. Got only 1 on spawn and saw a guy do very well early on minnows. Talked to him for a bit he said he fishes jigs and minnows most of the time and got over 20 on Friday with minnows. I kept thinking spawn only and didn’t even bring any minnows! I guess versatility comes with experience; I need to learn all the baits and not just fish spawn like an idiot over and over! Will have some minnows next time for sure. She wont be good for a few days guys.
