Hey guys,
I was just wondering what everyone's favorite type of monofilament line was and why? I'm going to be experimenting this season trolling with mono along with my braid and see how much of a difference it makes on a day to day basis. I was just wondering what everyones experiences and thoughts are on the various brands out there. If you could give me some feedback on the major brands that would be awesome. I'm shooting for 10 to 12 lb mono but I want something that is a very strong line. I've always been a fan of Stren but am willing to try other brands. Thanks.

BK

I went to Big Game,Kev.The IX seminar guys all had the name out there but Brumbaugh is Berkley sponsered.Transferred the braid to the dipsy rods.

Don't worry dear once we get past this rough water it will flatten out.

Kev I love the new cajn red line. I used it on my spinning reels last year and on one of my trolling rods for cranks. Really strong and abrassion resistant. I got a few spoons stuck in a tree while steelhead fishing last year. I tried to break it but got my lure back instead. I used it while casting for eyes and it worked real well there too.

I've actually heard really good things about that Cajun line. I'm thinking of either going with that or with the Stren Blood Red.

Went trolling with a guy last year that used the cajun red line just for leaders and it seemed to work great.

I couldn't believe the strenght that cajun had. I fished for cats and everything with it and I only lost one fish and that was because he got me in a tree and sawed me off. But that still took 5min for the fish to do that. I use the 12lb test
