Hit the river yesterday and today with Layin' Hard Wood and fished some tough conditions. Hard to get a cast to were you needed it because of the ice. The ice also kept us from fishing some of our favorite holes cause they were iced over. Landed 5 fish yesterday and only 1 today. Got a late start today and the river was pretty well crowded in the ice free spots. All fish came on spawn and pink seemed to be the magic color the last couple of days. Tough fishin' but still managed a few. Hittin' it again tomorrow for a full day of fishin'. Should be a different story tomorrow as long as we don't get too much rain. The one today was a monster female and full of eggs. Was a good thing we got her too cause I was just about out. Enjoy the pics guys!
