| Nice videos!! Man that sure makes me miss my CR500. Did you ever do any riding down at the old strip mines in Sugarcreek? I use to ride there all the time before they shut it down. That place was awesome, I about killed myself there a couple times but hell thats half the fun of it. LOL Still have two puncture holes in my stomach where I hit a tree about 20 feet up. Thats when I decided that drinking and dirt bikes don't really mix! I sure do miss that CR, that thing could climb anything. If you know Sugarcreek you have to have tried the WidowMaker. That thing was bad arse!! Do you still ride? I haven't for a couple of years now. Always thinking about getting another bike though. :-) |

Old Copperhead mines north of town off 93,rode there often before racing took over.Pulled up on some guys on the hill on the approach to widowmaker all just sitting there one day.Asked what was up and they said they had 125's and they wont do it???Mine,CR125,was a "little" reworked for scrambles and had a little bottom grunt and did that stuff as well as possible much to their surprise. My best friend works on the development of the new KTM quads and I have been lucky enough to see and feel them since the first prototypes hit the states so early that the "plastic" was hand laid glass. He does a jump and wheelie show that was inspired by our luck to entertain and build, pit and help Matt Coulter "The Kangaroo Kid" who holds a few Guiness records for "quadbike" when he did shows at the Buckete AMA a few years back.I still have the last race bike that CR and a 90 KTM 300mxc that is almost fully rebuilt.Miss the sport but self-employment wrenching doesnt allow broken bones,so we went to a place where you can run endless whoop fields, just on water...lol...
We rebuilt the KTM500 powered Phillips chassied Quad in the experimental aircraft jump shown in this video and there was a ticket with my name on it to go to the shoot for MTV's sensless acts series but that selfemploy thing always gets in the way of all the fun!!!

| Shelley, It's time to take out a large life insurance policy on the 'ole man and have him try to beat Robbie Morrison's new record. That way you can just go buy a new boat. |
