Wow. That about sums it up. Everyone was lightin' em up tonight. 7 FOW all the way out to 20 FOW. Just an awesome night and beautiful weather. Everything we put out caught fish. Purple perch was our hot bait though 50-60 back at 1.5 mph. Finished with 11 and probably dropped about 8 others. Finally was able to get my brother out cause he's home for thanksgiving break. His previous night bite experience hasn't been quite as enjoyable lol. I think two was our previous high. He had fun tonight! LOL. Enjoy the pics. Sounds like the weather is gonna turn funky. Later dudes. Thanks Eddy.

Here are the pics from monday night. I finally got em. The other guys pictured are DJ's friend Dave and his son Mike. Mikes first trip nite biting. We told them we are not responsible for any addictions that could be formed by catching HAWG walleye after dark. Lets just say we have another that will be attending FAA (Fishing Addicts Annonimous) LOL. Enjoy the pics.

As long as the sun is down the nite bite will go on. LOL Its not just a clever name. No i'm just kidding. I've been out where it goes all night and some nights its only an hour or two. I know a couple of guys that don't go out til midnight and fish til morning. They always get their fish.
Mike, I hear they are sitting in around 35 FOW off the castle during the day. Don't know if its true but thats the rumor. I've only been out at night bud. Congrats on your fish O's. Don't know if any of these have been fish O's haven't measured them. I'm sure one of two of them have been. We had one break us off last night. Might of been a steelie but sure was a hard hard pull back. U may not mark them cause they are sitting up high in the water column. After the water turns there is oxygen all over the water column so they just follow the baitfish. If they are up high u might not be able to see um on your sonar cause of the cone angle. Just a thought.
And the brown coveralls are the s_it. Don't leave home without em. LOL. Later dudes.

Team Rednek also enjoyed a beautiful night out on the big pond. Fished from 8PM until 12:30AM. Took 12 3-4# eaters. No hawgs here.
We caught all our fish in 20-24 FOW west of the V.
Best bait was a Rapala Original Floating #18 in Silver Fluorescent Chartreuse 70 back. Other 3 were HJ #12-14's in Glass Purple Perch, Glass Perch and Glass Clown 60 back. |

Big Kev: tried to raise ya on the radio tuesday night, had a hunch you would be out there....no radio?
Skipnskul: heard you on the radio, lol, just didn't recognize the name from the forums.
We were west of cranberry, things weren't so hot there, lost a couple hawgs, bagged 8 for the day tho, was a nice night, so we stayed until about 9:30.

Yeah thought I could save a little money by getting a handheld cause I just use to fish the skinny water then started runnin with Big Kev and now I am all over the lake. paid 100 dollars for the hand held and now after investigating (which I should of done first) i could have purchased a fixed mount for forty more dollars oh well it gives me something to talk about at the next FAA meeting. I hope we can get out saturday. REMEMBER THE FIRST STEP TO RECOVERY FOR YOUR FISHING ADDICTION IS ADMITTING YOU HAVE A PROBLEM . THE NEXT STEP IS TO GO FISHING.lol WWWWWWAAAAAAAARRRRRRREEEEEEEYYYYYYYYEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! |
