Rock-man put us on a decent bite (turnabout for me giving him the spot last week) and we put 30 nice ones in the boat. 47' fow, 330 from the Lorain light. Quite windy and lots of rain, but Mrs. ErieBoy75 is not faint of heart, so we went out for her birthday fishing trip a day early. Hope this isn't the end of it, but you never know on Lake Erie. | Sounds like you caught a keeper when you got married. Glad to see you got some fish today. I would have to force my wife to go on a day like today. And then I probably wouldn't be her husband for her next birthday. And may not see mine. |

well, yeah, but trust me on this one....you DON'T want to go there. Same gene pool with VERY different results. Mine is one in a million (the good way). Sis is one in a million the other way..... ErieBoy75 |

11/11 wasn't the last of it. Bagged some nice perch this afternoon. More rain, but not as much wind this time. 42 fow a little east of north out of the Lorain Harbor. One jumbo spit out 4 other minnows and one was about a 4"-er. Talk about pigging out! Best of luck to all. ErieBoy75 |

Chucky - sorry I missed your question last week. The waves were more than 2', an occasional 3 footer. Pretty sloppy, all in all, what with the chop and rain. Today was still choppy, but no rain. We ran out to deeper water, tried 2 spots with lots of marks, but no bites. Ended up catching some nice fish in 28 fow off St. Anthony's. I saw a boat there before church and he stayed put, so we moved in after no takers out deeper. That's it for us boys. I'll fog the engine early this week and wait for the hard water fishing. Thanks for all the tips. I've definitely caught more fish because of you fellers! ErieBoy75 |
