I'm sure many of you know of Virgil Tent and the Fish Crazy username about the net.He seems to get it done in Cleveland and has offered some decent night bite info on his site. His rates for night charters are more than reasonable and he is putting on a big fish tournament over a three week period. We set up two nights to entertain friends as Drift Bag will not finish our boat!!!LOL!!!

Check his site.

http://www.fishcrazycharters.com/

BTW,you will notice Dave's is a weigh station for his tournament.

Don't worry dear once we get past this rough water it will flatten out.

Virgil and his charter services are great! I could not recommend them enough! When I go out on his boat you can tell where he gets the "Fish Crazy" from; a VERY lot of other fishers rely on his advice as far as where to fish, what to use, how fast to troll, ect. Just read his website and you can tell he knows his stuff.

At his prices, you can not find another charter for even double the price, I believe it is around $35-$50 per head for Perch/Walleye respectively.

I took my family out for Father's Day and we didn't even fish for four hours (the family had to cut the trip short) and managed 23 Walleyes. The picture is on his website if you click on pictures, then find 6/23/07. I scheduled a trip this Sunday with him because I was so satisfied. I'm sure I will not be disappointed as long as Mr. Wind doesn't tag along. I'll let you know how the bite is. Take care and have a great weekend!

it was really slow Mark as you found,at least we were not skunked.Virgil stayed out trying to get us hooked up but it never turned on.He is a great guy had a lot of fun bs'ing and talking the sport, there is a reason his handle is Fish Crazy. He stayed out trying to get us hooked up and that alone said a lot about the man's integrity to me.The Renosky chatter stick looks to be a good bait and it makes some serious noise.Watch the Plain Dealer Saturday as Monday night D'Arcy Egan and crew went for a ride,I think he said 12 eyes and a few steelies were in the mix for a two hour ride with some fat bottomed girls around. The large fish still do not have the seriously distended bellies so it looks like there may be some time to pull quality weight to come.Virgil talked of the first major winter storm as being the hammer down feed and now Drifty will love a comfy night on the rocks when she blows,as it all makes sense other than being there but we will be if we can find a corner to fish somewhere!!!Our next night out with him will be the 30th with Double Eagle,Crosseyes and Redneck and I will be adding others until ice over.In fact I thought about next week as I think there are two open nights left anybody interested???$50.00 a seat

Don't worry dear once we get past this rough water it will flatten out.

well it looks like 3 so far. I'm good pretty much any day. Hey, make it 4. I'll gamble that Charlie would like to go also. If we all go the same day. I'll have to remember to watch the F'bombs around preacherman. LOL

As of now the 4th and 6th are open and I'm thinking both nights as I can add any we need. When I talked with Virgil he said he could take up to six but prefers four, another statement about his character, most would go for the money in todays society over ease of fishing.

What do you guys think???

Those days were sold but not updated online until this am.Are you and Charlie still on?There are still slots from the 19th till ice over we can use but it looks like all hell broke loose in the last week with his scheduling so we need to get on.I just noticed the 19th is a late run and I don't think either of us realized that when we talked so it will probably be the 20th on,I will contact him in the am and post.
