With the big blow we've been having would it be fishable for Perch close to the Vermilion shoreline. I have a 17' CC and would like to put in at the transit authority ramp. How is this ramp with the low water and is there anything else to worry about? Does Dave have shiners? Thanks

I was up today checking out places to dock my boat next year. Ramp and river looked good. Don't know about the fishing or the shiners.

Will NOT fish for food !!

If you can do it I would go to Cleveland. We were out today about a mile north of the East end of the breakwall and did the best I have ever done. We got our 90 perch the biggest 13" maybe 40 or so between 10 and 12 inches and the rest 9. Very good day it was windy but the lake was only 2-3's. Didn;t really mark anything on the fish finder just stopped at a spot and started catching right away. It was nice to catch so big ones for a change. I will post pics and I have gps numbers if anyone wants them.

Go to Lorain at Hot Waters just north of the light house!!!! Remember there is a drop off at the ramp at Vermilion and you will be stuck if your drop over the end.

You Might try the Huron area, caught 2 + limits today, all 9 to 10 inches with 2 in the 12" size.
Go out of the river and go west almost to the end of the breakwall in 19',it was a big blow today but they still were hitting when we quit.
