I'm thinking of coming up Monday to troll for some eyes - depending on the weather. I know the lake is rough right now, but did anyone do any good this week? I'm trying to decide if it is worth driving up. Thanks!

Thurs-Fri-Sat,waves 1-3,3-5 and 4-6 footers was predicted.Have not even been up to look at the lake or even heard of any one going out with this front coming,may be Sunday we all hope!

Very spotty in both the walleye and perch depts.
No one could really get out to the dumping grounds to work for the eyes.
The late afternoon seems to be productive for eyes in close.
Some real nice perch have been pulled about 1.5 miles north of the Vermilion river.

I would vote " stay home" with the wind forecast.
We are on the cusp of awesome fishin' via lake and river.
Things are due to explode in the next week or so.

Bigmtman, thanks for the info. Dave, thanks for the very candid advice. A lot of guys in your business would say "come on up, we're killing them"! I can't wait to get back up, but I trust your judgement. Better days are fast approaching.
