Last Tuesday evening when I was out fishing, i was moving to the back of the boat to grap a pole out of the rod holder and a wave threw me off balance. I fell up against to motor cover. The pain kept getting worse and went and had x-rays taken today. it turns out i broke a rib and messed up my ankle. I think the most painful was listening to my wife and daughter yell at me for a half hour over dinner for being so stupid for being out there alone, even though I told them i always wear my life jacket. Anyway I've been grounded from going out by myself until further notice. I am looking to go out on Monday and wondering if anyone would like to go with me. I usually hit the water around noon and perch fish and then try for walleye. I stay out until the spirit moves me to come in. thanks.

I havent been to Vermillion in many years but would love to do some fall perch or eyes in your neck of the woods again. I fish the western basin now and its a long boat drag that way for me.
Reply back to me and maybe we can set something up. i can only fish the weekends though. For some reason , we all have to work during the week. Fishing all week is just a temporary dream.
I fished today for perch and took a limit of 8 to 11 inch fish about 10 miles out of my main docking port . Was fun but hot for for my favorite month of the year.

hey greg, yeah i like this time of year too. my problem is that i have to work weekends and then have some flexibility during the week. i've been doing real well on the perch the last few weeks and hope it continues tomorrow. tom h
