By far this seems to be the best bunch of sportsmen on any forum that i've ever seen, you guys are pretty awsome, if it weren't for the overly friendly comradery i would have never signed up with this site.
First off, about myself, i'm a Dept. Sup. in a machine shop, (CNC) and programmer entailing a list of associated talents. Fisherman first at heart, finally bought my first boat last year, it's a small one, you've prolly all seen me out there in my blue Alumacraft 165 Classic Tiller w/a 60HP Merc, thinking i'm nuts, but i can't seem to get off the big puddle when the full tickets come so often. Been fishing most of the last 10 years on lake chitaqua in NY with my buddy and his boat. Most of this season, until 3 weeks ago, i spent 99% of the time 2.5-3 mi straight north of vermilion trolling from the southwest corner of the dump site to 2mi west, been hammering them there all year.
Anyhow, i feel very fortunate to have found this site, it's been more informative and helpful and friendly than any other by far, feels like a new home. Thanx to all

Glad to have you here and welcome to the forum, your help and posts will be important to all of us.The great thing here besides all the help-tips and friends you will make is that I only have a 16 foot bass tracker and go out every weekend possible but every one treats every one with the same kind of respect. You can be boat less or own a 30 footer it just doesn't matter here.We are fishermen that want to help others and post what works and believe me these guys have showed me A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Mark Butler - ( Let Christ be your light house )

And, it doesn't matter how big your boat is, as long as you can get out to fish in it. At least thats what my wife tells me. LOL. Welcome my friend. If there is anything that you have questions about don't be afraid to ask them. No matter how small or stupid you think they are. All of us have been there at one time or another. We will gladly help out and never laugh at you, (unless you want us to, Right DE). Later dude.
