Headed out today with FatCat. He had heard there was fish out as far west as the 34 27 area so that is where we started. On the way out I spotted an in-line board. We swung around and picked up a t-22 special board with all the updated clips and the tattle flag system on it. Finally got out and set and trolled around for about an hour. Had heard Tubuzz and Get Fish(ogf) were into the fish but we had no cell service where we were at. Jeff was nice enough to get us in the area of active fish 33 15.5. We ended up catching 13 eyes 2 sheepheads and two white bass. Our best colors were mixed veggie, deadly ted anti-freeze, and a white orange and chart blade. Double dutch caught a few fish as well. 3oz in-line weights 65 back was the ticket. A few fire drills and two fish lost about 25 feet behind the boat. All in a great day on the water. Our biggest fish was about 6 pounds or so but heard of some bigger fish mixed in.

Guys here are a few pics. I left four fish on the boat and all of them were the bigger ones.
These are the colors that did the best. However the first one was in a double willow and not the Colorado shown.

Wow, Bob, you really got a "discussion" about giving out numbers going at OGF (stands for Omit Gps Figures). I for one, apppreciate getting numbers. I wish I did good enough to post some numbers! Rod, what days are you planning on being on the lake? I didn't hear you yesterday or today (Saturday). With the jerk from Cincinatti on 79, I'm sure I would have heard fron you if you were there. |

| With Hawgfest and some others coming up everyone is tight-lipped. For what reason??? Like they are going to hide a honey hole and tell the fish to stay ther until tounament day. What is the point of posting on a forum or even visiting one.Thought they whole concept was to share info and help each other out. What are you going to do though, you can't make everyone happy all of the time. I will be heading out there tomorrow afternoon and Monday morning. Will be on 79 and fishing the southeast of the bar. I left out the GPS numbers so no body will know where I am at! |

| I appreciate all the help too. I am going out tomorrow morning will post how I did and were I was. How can people get mad when your just trying to help someone else enjoy fishing. Just because you go to a set of gps numbers that were posted don't mean the fish are going to jump in your boat, you still have to fish for them. |

| This is when Big Kev and Bait Dave screwed up this forum was Hog Fest time and they both went tight lipped and gave out no info at all as they were both fishing the Fest!!! No one was asking for their honey holes just some numbers. I will be out today and tomorrow. Went to a fly tying school yesterday in Canton, It was very good. We tied 18 different fly patterns for Steelhead. If anyone is interested there will be more classes coming up and I could get you hooked up. This one was for the beginner!! Maybe I will post some pictures if anyone would like to see what we tied. |

| Freebie I think the fire was burning long before I posted I was just the one that open the door and cause the back draft. I even got pms about the numbers and what the yeck they weren't even his numbers. When we left the lake it was all over ch 79 I figured it was no secret. If I am asked to keep my mouth shut or keep the number quite I do but if it is all over the radio then I see no problem with it. They bait shops monitor 79 so oh well. This was only my second good trip of the year so I was excited to help others. |

Went out today started at 33 15 got one eye quick off a mixed veggie harnness. Went by myself started around the outside of the pack I was feeling pretty good so I decided to get in behind someone going through the pack that is when my day started heading south. I realized you still need more than one person even with autopilot to go through a pack that big. After I got out the other side I moved to 32 17 pick up two more one on mixed veggie harnness the other on orange crush spoon. Easier driving and fishing when there are only a couple boats, our make a phone call to a friend(Hawg Hunter) to see if they wanted to fish too. Another hard lesson learned on the lake today.

| Tough day for us today. A lot of people out starting to perch fish and some out for the first time I think. We just weren't in the right place and couldn't figure out where they were getting them. Heard some people talking but I just couldn't lower myself to ask where. When we got to the dock I did talk to a guy that had their limit and he even showed me. Do you know how hard it was for me to swallow that one. Four of us had ten eyes and two perch. I have a better idea where I will be starting tomorrow, so time will tell and I hope I have a better story for you. |

I managed to pick up 3 you missed at 34.5/15.5 or so, just south of the nets. I accidently figured out a pattern when I had to stop at 60 out on a small dipsey at a 3 setting to get back up front and steer the boat. I lost one on the retrieve when I had to put the boat in neutral, and one "tap" that came back with just the leader remaining. Then I heard guys talking about getting them up high. It was almost like they were hanging under the algea blooms happening out there, and just moving a little away from the boat as I passed through. I would have thought it would be better in the cleaner water. Hope the weather holds up for Monday, it's looking iffy. |
