Went perch fishing today. I heard it was slow at the Lorain lighthouse and got some info from a friend who went out Friday 35.2/11.8. So we made a run out there. Three man limit, very big perch. Hope this will help. |

Although Friday you would have had to have been 7 miles or more to find clear-ish water. We were out 5+ miles and it was still mud as far as we could see. Saturday the line moved in and it was decent at 4+ miles.
I caught a lot of small fish, but managed some nice ones, too. I fished from 3pm to 5pm.
Too bad the weather turned on us.

Hawg Hunter: Thanks for the report! You say 35.2/11.8. Were you really around 7 miles north of Lorain Harbor or am I rusty on my GPS readings? |
