Just west of Sherod,,,10'. Purple jig w/stinger spoon tipped with a shiner.
Smokin' um', I spoke to a couple of parents/old customers/friends at the Vermilion Prom walk tonight. They saw me , and just started chatting fishin'. Many fellas spoke their piece.
With the chill and crappy weather, who knows.
Even the local funeral home director was catchin um'. Mark Riddle please post! You love to fish and help, please post!

 Dear Mike good luck on the kings ..... Have to do some changes on those poles and set ups to catch them. I have allays fished on the outside of the packs great to here of so many small ones taken good luck Conan |

Good luck in Olcott. Just got back from there it was slow. We did manage a few 15 pound kings but by no means would I say it was good fishing. Alot of small kings less than 5 pounds. The temp was great 50 on top 43 down but the fish just weren't there yet. Maybe when you go it will be better. Good luck and gas was $3.85 up there....

Trolled west of Vermillion in 40 fow and then in to 24 fow. We used just 2 rods with Jet 30, 40 and stingers when we could stand up. Got nothing. Thats OK though we were just out for sea trials any way. It was good to get the wax dust off the boat. Heading up to Olcott in 2 weeks for some spring Kings. |
