well i finally managed to catch some of those steelheads.last tuesday 4-22.ive only been fishing at the v about 5 times before this and everytime the water was either high or muddy or both.this time the water was perfect.the day started with a nice smallmouth following my lure but no bites.i moved down the river and switched to an 1/32 oz white hair jig my friend gave me and landed a 6 lb steelie my first.i moved down the river some more and landed another steelie this one a little over 8 Lbs. and 29 inches long all on 6 lb. test.
I was fishing with 2 of my friends and one landed a 6 pounder and the other one landed 2 6 pounders.all caught on 1/32 oz jigs.

turned out to be a good day fishing with friends. |

Sweet. I've haven't been in the river for a couple of weeks now. Been fishing the lake pretty heavily but those are some nice fish guys. Nice job! |

oh i forgot to mention i bought the rod and reel at your baitstore dave.I really like the rod quite a bit. |
