After about 5 months of frustration finally got one today on the V !went with a friend from work,watched him catch 4 and lose a couple right next to me,i was just about to give up when i hooked a nice male.Man that was awesome,can't wait to get back down there!we were using 3" floating rapalas,just holding them in the current in front of the fish,they were jumping and rolling all over the river.fished from 5:00 till dark,water was perfect.I'm hoping now that the 1st one is out of the way that they start coming a little easier,i'd hate to wait 5 more months for my 2nd ! |
