DE,
Sorry I didn't hear you on the radio, I actually didn't realize how low I had the volume on for most of the day. Sorry about that. Next time try me on the phone. We fished the 34/22 area with a fair amount of success. Two oz inline keel weights with wonderbread and monkey puke reef runners between 100'-130' back. 1.3 mph seemed to be our best speed and could only get em going if we were heading west. (Very Odd) Anyhow it was a long day but did manage to get seven nice eyes, two that were twins going 27" and weighing around 8 lbs. Not a fish under 5 lbs. Sure was neat to see the pros go wizzin by at around 245 pm towards cleveland. Enjoy the pics!!!!

One of the 27 inchers

And her twin

This one was just a touch under 27"

The Pros Haulin' U Know What

Bob,
Those would be the ones. They work!!!
Carl,
The source is very reliable, however he didn't tell me where he was fishing. There are night tournaments comin up and he is fishing in them. I will be joining him so he is keeping his spots secret. However he pulled some NICE fish after dark.

Nice fish and nice pics Kev. Wish we could have caught a few like that on Sunday. Are those keel weights the ones that Kavjaez and Parsons take credit for?

I talked to one of the guys fishing this tourney and he told me he traveled 92 miles round trip. Had to stop to refuel before he ran back to cleveland. Guess it would be worth it for 100 grand. They eyes are there they just all want to bite for some reason. I can't even sniff one on a spoon lately. I think there was a baitfish explosion recently and there is a lot of food in the water for em. When trolling we have been noticing giant and I mean GIANT clouds of bait. Sometimes covering almost the entire screen of the sonar. I think that might be part of it. I heard a rumor that the night bite is starting!!!!! Can't wait for that.

Kev, Nice pics! Seems the eyes are a bit on the finicky side lately. Neat pics of the pros heading back in. I followed the FLW tourney....wow what results! I noticed more than a few were targeting the vermilion and lorain sand bar area! That should tell us all something!
