Posted - 05/12/2008 : 21:11:52 Went out Saturday, straight out of Hot Waters to about 45 fow. Used my standard croppie rig on one pole, Ole Pete's jig (I picked up at the German's Villa flea market) on the other. Killed 'em on Pete's rig, only small ones on the croppie rig. Put Pete's rig on both lines, done almost as fast as I could get them down and bounce them on the bottom. I had one really big shiner that got chewed up pretty good, but I got 6 big perch on that one mutilated minnow. Love Ole' Pete's lure. Stopped in at Hot Waters and told the gal there to get some of Pete's jigging lures. I don't see them too many places (yet) Also discovered my bilge pump finally puked out. Bummer! |
