I live just east of Toledo and I wanted to know if anyone knew how the perch fishing was going around the islands? Are the perch still hitting good in Vermilion and or Lorain to make it worth the drive? |

They are fishin' today out of Vemrilion. Just past the murk line. No white water this a.m.

4/30 we hammered them in 50 fow, due N of the Lorain Light.
Sunday, after the front went through, the bite was much lighter....I still caught fish, but missed as many as I landed.
About 1/3 of them were 10" and over. Some small ones, too.
Is it worth the drive? You never know...........

A week ago they were killing the perch right in front of the Lorian light house in around 41 FOW and less.Big perch to say the least,but I think also that the beginning of this week the commercial nets went out |
